Time to Domain-ate!
It’s a new site launch! BryanAlexis.net is no more. Well, it still exists, but it’s been bought by some sort of Japanese water saving blog site or something thinking they are going to cash in on my raging American popularity. Joke’s on them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Here is the first paragraph according to Google Translate:
Various causes including water saving clogs the toilet and lands me in trouble. It would be nice if you could handle it with water from a rubber cup or bucket yourself, but if you told you to do such a thing you would be at a loss. What should I do?
Clogged toilet. Sound about right for the old site, now.
It’s o.k., though, because this is the NEW SITE! I’ve had my eye on a [dot]art site for a while and was ready to make the purchase when that suffix became available last May. So, it’s .art now, if you please.
Where Can You Get a .Art Domain Suffix
You might want to check out 101domain.com if you are interested in your own new site with a spiffy .art suffix. They were helpful and easy to use. They also are one of the few domain name servers that offer it.
New Site: Future Planning
I’m happy with this new site launch. It’s my little corner of the web to showcase design, art, student work and, at some point, sell some stuff. I get to practice what I preach to my students when I tell them that designers these days should take advantage of having a web presence. Soon I hope to be able to sell some of my illustrations or maybe some artwork as well. I’ll let you know on social media when I get something going. I would be happier to get the new site to pay for itself before it turns into an old site.
Search Engine Optimization-arianism
Now the work begins to get search engines to slowly start recognizing this new site as the home of the REAL Bryan Alexis, and not that imposter selling tips and tricks to unclog your toilet. By the way, I would recommend the HDX 5 inch Force Cup Plunger. It’s second to none.
